We are Momentum Racing Team and are now taking part in the international "Formula 1 in Schools" competition for the sixth time. Thanks to our successes at the South-German and German Championships last year, we were able to qualify for the 2022 World Finals in England and are actively working towards it.
World Finals 2022
Here we go again!
After a long period of uncertainty about the participation in the 2022 World Finals, we are pleased to announce that we can now officially start preparing for the competition.
German Championship 2021
We did it and with the vice-champion title we also qualified for the next world championship of F1 in Schools!
We are pleased that we have achieved this goal in our very first season as seniors and that with just 1.2 points behind the winner. Of course, this is all the more motivation for us to give our all at the World Cup and show what we are capable of!
Many thanks to all our supporters, sponsors and partners without whose help this success would have never been possible!
F1 in Schools
F1 in School is a multidisciplinary, international technology competition in which students ages 11 to 19 design and manufacture a miniature Formula 1 race car on a computer and then enter it into a race. The goal is to use the fascination and global presence generated by the "big" Formula 1 to create an exciting, engaging learning experience for youth, thereby increasing understanding and insight into the fields of product development, technology and science, and highlighting career paths in technology.
In regional competitions and state championships, the gas cartridge-powered cars compete against each other on a 20-meter race track. The winning team represents its state in the German championship. The decisive factor is the team's performance in terms of design, production, reaction time, vehicle speed, business plan, and presentation.
